I am grinding very hard with work right now. I'm throwing a lot of time at it and have not had a lot of time to myself. I decided to take a small break and spend a few days in Scottsdale. I enjoyed my time previously at the Villa Mirage location and chose to stay there again.

I started the stay on the 27th. I slept in at the house and worked for a while in the morning. It was not the best way to start some time off, but it helped out later on. I headed out to the hotel around 3. I made a couple of small stops and got checked in quickly around 4. I got things squared away in the room and then headed out to feed the homeless cats. Once complete, I got back to the room and poured a few cocktails. I just hung out and relaxed the rest of the night.

I woke up Thursday after sleeping in a bit. I was hungry and headed over to a favorite, Kura Revolving Sushi. I love that place and was happy to be back. I made a couple of small stops in Scottsdale but kept things pretty quick. I headed back to the hotel as I had some interviews to conduct. I had technical issues and could only get into one of them properly. It was annoying but was at least complete. From there, I decided to just hang and relax the rest of the day. I had picked up some food earlier and prepared some of it. There was a small gazebo outside of my room and I decided to eat there. It was actually very nice to sit outside and relax. After that, I went back inside, had a few cocktails, watched some movies, and got to bed early.

I got up Friday and got over to Kura again. I ran out to hit various stores for a couple of hours, but called it an easy day. I ate dinner again at the gazebo and just loafed around all night before crashing out.

Saturday was also a pretty chill day. I got up and got Kura again. I ran to Target and then decided to see The Mandalorian at Cine Capri. It was a nice little break and I was excited to have it. I stopped at Whole Foods to grab a little dinner and then sat outside again. It was my last night, so I got everything packed up for the early exit.

Sunday, I got up fairly early. I checked out in advance of the 10AM requirement and headed back to the house to do some laundry and prep for the week. It was nice to get away for a little bit and have some relaxing time to myself.
